Rebecca Schaefer, Assistant Project Manager

What do you like best about the construction industry?
There is always a new challenge, and you get to be a part of bringing a building to life.  So many jobs today live on the computer. Construction is about putting the pieces together in the real world.

What would you say to a female considering a career in construction?
Curiosity about how things work and a go-getter attitude are the most important tools to be successful in construction.  If you are interested in buildings and you thrive working outside and thinking on your feet, go for a career in construction management.
