Adopt A Class – Year End Field Trip

As we approach the end of another school year, our visits with the fourth-grade students from Silverton and Wildwood elementary schools through the Adopt A Class program are also coming to a close. And what better way to conclude the academic year than with a field trip? The Adopt A Class team had a fantastic time hosting the students at The Union Apartments at Eastgate, one of our active job sites. Before entering the building to explore some apartments in progress and completed ones, the students eagerly received their PPE (personal protective equipment), including hard hats, safety glasses, and vests. They also had the opportunity to engage with Bill Baudendistel, the site superintendent and a mentor of our Adopt A Class program.

Afterward, the classes received a warm welcome at our Cincinnati office.  Here they participated in a question-and-answer session with our CEO, joined by other members of the Executive Team and Associates. They also enjoyed a tour of our office and a delicious lunch. It was inspiring to witness the enthusiasm and curiosity shown by these young minds towards careers in construction, including various trades such as electricians, decorators, flooring specialists, landscapers, carpenters, and more!
