Welcome Summer Co-ops
Welcome to our college co-ops who are joining us for the summer. They will be working on various projects and gaining valuable experience in the construction industry.
Michael Moller: Michael is studying Construction Management at the University of Cincinnati. He will be working with Matt Wade (Superintendent) and Ian Cundiff (Project Manager) at The Union, a Luxury Multifamily Project in Union Township, near Cincinnati, OH. In his first rotation with MV, Michael is assisting with QA/QC, safety audits, owner equipment documentation, and punch list management.
Brett Slattery: Brett, a Civil Engineering student at the University of Dayton, has been assigned to work alongside Jason Bowling (Superintendent), on the Industrial Realty Group (IRG) project in Batavia, Ohio. Brett’s primary responsibilities involve overseeing and confirming the completion of tasks, maintaining daily logs, and conducting safety audits in Procore. His focus will be on the final phase of the Old Ford Plant, ensuring that all remaining work is tracked and verified.
Bobby Orr: Bobby is studying Mechanical Engineering at The Ohio State University. He will be working with Rebecca Schaefer (Project Manager), Ken Prendergast (Assistant Project Manager), and Brent Caraway (Superintendent) on the Total Quality Logistics expansion project. Bobby’s responsibilities involve coordinating schedules between different trades, maintaining a clean jobsite, and promoting project safety. This experience will allow him to learn about subcontractor relationships and the day-to-day workings of an active construction project.
Anna Ringer: Anna is studying Civil Engineering at the University of South Carolina. She will be reporting to Russ Reinhart (Sr. Project Manager) and utilizing her CAD skills to assist with conceptual designs for our future projects. This involves communicating desired building and logistic layouts to Civil Engineers and Architects and vetting design vendors for surveying, geotechnical, and environmental engineering scopes of work.
Mason Vazzana: Mason is studying Civil Engineering at the University of South Carolina and will be reporting to Kenneth Givens (Project Manager). His duties will include preconstruction assistance on potential future projects and providing support for the Pantheon project with P&G in Albany, GA. Mason has already attended a site walk for an upcoming project and will be visiting Albany in the coming weeks.
Joe Weisgerber: Joe is studying Civil Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and will be reporting to Jon Brockman (Sr. Project Manager). He will be responsible for procurement and shop drawing review for the P&G Swing Road Lab Renovation. Joe will also work on estimating tasks for the P&G Swing Road Administrative Office Renovation and Parking Lot expansion projects.
We are excited to have such a talented group of individuals join our project teams, and we look forward to their contributions throughout the summer.
