Butler Tech

Recently completed is a 4,000 SF addition ON TOP of the existing Butler Tech Bioscience building.  Expanding up, rather than out, allowed Butler Tech to accommodate growth without the resource-intensive work of finding and developing land or obtaining easements.  The expansion houses a phlebotomy lab and a classroom, as well as study space.

Miller-Valentine partnered with MSP Design on this dynamic project.  From the start, the project displayed the advantages and benefits that are inherent in close collaboration between the design, construction, and owner teams. Together, MSP Design and Miller-Valentine representatives laid out a highly detailed schedule and project management plan with clearly defined deliverables for all stakeholders.

Miller-Valentine worked with us not as a contractor, but as a trusted partner to minimize any impacts to staff and students.  I have worked on a variety of construction projects from remodeling to new construction.  Despite the complexity of completing a vertical expansion while school was in session, this is by far the smoothest construction project I have had to date.
