Intraplás
Construction has completed on Intraplás’s (a plastic extrusion company specializing in sustainable and innovative packaging) first U.S. manufacturing facility, with a total planned investment of 40 million euros. The project involved transforming a 100,000-square-foot facility in Van Wert, Ohio, into a state-of-the-art production space.
The new plant created more than 50 new local jobs and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology in the areas of extrusion, thermoforming, IML-T (In Mould Labelling Thermoformed), and HD (High Definition) printing. The project had to meet specific timeline requirements to fulfill Intraplás’s commitments to U.S. clients in 2025.
Miller Valentine managed the entire interior fit-out, including 4,200 square feet of office space, along with production and warehousing areas. The scope included installing process chilled water systems, new HVAC systems, process equipment foundations, and two new electrical services.
The project required careful coordination between construction activities and the Owner installed process equipment, which started arriving in March 2025. Intraplás needed equipment installed by August 2025 and lines fully operational in Q4 of 2025. Miller Valentine delivered on time and under budget, despite the project’s complexity.
